Terms of Service

1. What these terms cover

These terms govern your use of this site and the services Sherrod Sports Visas provides. If you have signed a service agreement with us, that signed agreement governs and these terms are secondary to it wherever the two differ.

2. What we do

Sherrod Sports Visas provides global mobility consulting and petition preparation services and is not a law firm. We provide global mobility consulting and petition preparation. Where legal representation is part of your engagement, it is provided under the arrangement described in your signed service agreement.

3. Fees

The fee is the amount stated in your signed service agreement. No price published on this site or elsewhere overrides it. Government filing fees, premium processing fees and other government charges are set by the government, are not included, and are payable in addition.

Work outside the scope of your signed agreement is quoted separately and agreed in writing before it is performed.

4. What we do not promise

No one can promise an immigration outcome and we do not. The decision belongs to the government. Fees pay for work performed, not for a particular result. We do not control USCIS processing times, requests for evidence, site visits or policy changes, and we are not responsible for delays caused by them.

5. Communication and responsiveness

The next two paragraphs apply only where you have signed a service agreement with us. They do not apply to anything else on this site.

Communication channel. All communication about your matter must be sent to casecom@sherrodsportsvisas.com, or to another address or portal we designate in writing. Communication sent anywhere else — to a staff member’s personal email address or phone number, to a social media or messaging account, or to any address we have not designated — does not form part of the case record, may not be seen or acted upon, and does not satisfy any request, deadline or notice requirement. This paragraph governs communication with Sherrod Sports Visas only; it does not apply to, limit or govern your communication with anyone else. If you continue to use other channels after one written warning, we may end the engagement and the remaining service is forfeited; what happens to money already paid is decided by your signed service agreement.

If we do not hear from you. If we request information, documents, a signature or a decision from you in writing and have not received it within fourteen (14) days, the matter is concluded and the file is closed. We will write to your email address of record when that happens. The fourteen days do not run while an extension is in place — ask us in writing before the deadline and, if we agree in writing, the deadline moves. Permission to extend must be in writing to count. A concluded matter may be reopened by written agreement. Conclusion under this paragraph does not itself make an unearned fee non-refundable.

6. Ending an engagement

Either party may end a signed service agreement as that agreement provides. On termination you remain responsible for fees for work already performed, and any unearned amount is handled as your signed agreement provides.

7. Using this site

Material on this site is general information, not advice for your situation, and does not create a professional relationship on its own. Do not send confidential details through a public form or a channel we have not designated.

8. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy is published at sherrodsportsvisas.com/privacy-policy and forms part of these terms.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability arising out of or relating to these services is limited to the amount you actually paid us for the service in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including lost earnings or lost opportunity. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the District of Columbia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published here on the date you use the site or sign an agreement.
